Driving Skills Assessment

If you are concerned that you or your loved one is at risk for driving, get a referral for a clinical driving screening with our specially trained occupational therapists.

The screening is done over three days, one hour each day, and includes these components:

• Physical screening for strength, flexibility and movement
• Visual screen
• Computerized testing to assess selected and divided attention, as well as concentration and visual speed of processing

A full, detailed report is sent to your referring doctor for your medical chart.

We do not perform on-the-road testing, but can refer you to several locations that do.

We can also provide alternative transportation resources to help patients who are no longer able to drive.
